SEMINAR

Description:

The personal contradictions and intimate lives of individuals both reflect and shape the economy in which we live. Psychology and economics are interdependent. Capitalism’s hard times provoke or worsen personal psychological problems. Yet, US capitalism’s endurance also reflects deep psychological needs and coping mechanisms.

This intensive two-hour seminar will explore and discuss how Americans’ economic and psychological problems interact today. Our goal is to help build a left program that responds effectively to the economic and psychological needs of our time.
